New Basis for Social Action (NBFSA) is a registered non-profit organization founded on the principle that social progress happens when we address the interconnected needs of people and their living environments.
"One purpose. Many paths to progress."
Our focus areas reflect the connected needs of people and the places they call home — spanning ecological conservation, youth skilling, healthcare access, welfare for marginalized groups, rural livelihoods, and community building safety.
1. Our 6 Core Pillars
Afforestation, rainwater harvesting, and sustainable farming for greener villages.
Learning support and vocational skills to foster youth self-reliance.
Diagnostic camps, nutrition drives, and family wellness awareness.
Care and empowerment for women, children, elders, and persons with disabilities.
Artisan clusters, agro-processing, and self-help group enterprises.
Structural audits, fire prevention, safe shelters, and disaster preparedness.
2. Building Safety Initiative
Safe physical infrastructure is fundamental to protecting community lives. Our Building Safety Wing partners with certified structural engineers, fire officers, and local authorities to audit community buildings, school shelters, and residential complexes against fire hazards and structural defects.
